Vet for the Day: Girl Scouts & Mission Vet Medical Center
High-school-level Girl Scouts are invited to join Mission Vet Medical Center for an advanced Vet for the Day experience designed to give them a deeper, more realistic look into veterinary medicine.
Girl Scouts will rotate through hands-on clinical stations, including a physical exam lab with real case scenarios, a veterinary dentistry station, a suturing lab, and a surgical scrubbing and sterile technique activity. Each station allows participants to practice practical skills, explore medical decision-making, and engage directly with veterinary tools and models.
This immersive event is ideal for aspiring veterinarians and students interested in medical science, offering a unique opportunity to experience what it's truly like to work in a veterinary hospital.
Price: $15 per girl (admission cost will go towards donation)
