Community Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator
The Community Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator is responsible for implementing and assessing comprehensive year-round recruitment and membership support strategies that increase girl and volunteer membership and enhance retention. Develop community partnerships and volunteer involvement while providing a consistent image of the Council’s commitment to Girl Scouts and the community at large. Responsible for volunteer recruitment, member identification, growth and maintenance.
Community Recruiter Lead- Central Kentucky Region
The Community Recruitment Lead is responsible for increasing the membership of Girl Scouts of Kentucky’s Wilderness Road within a specific region. They will increase awareness and participation in Girl Scouts by developing relationships with community organizations, corporations, schools, educators, faith-based institutions, and other community constituents. They will build excitement within our communities about the power of Girl Scout Leadership Experience, with support from our part-time and seasonal recruiters covering specific scheduled events. The Community Recruitment Lead is responsible for leading, coaching, and supporting Seasonal Recruiters to achieve Girl Scout membership growth goals across Central Kentucky counties.
Seasonal Recruiter - Northern Kentucky Region
A Seasonal Recruiter is responsible for increasing Girl Scout membership within Kenton and surrounding counties by actively engaging with potential members at pre-planned community events (open houses, festivals, etc.) and presentations. This role focuses on promoting the Girl Scout Experience to girls, their families, and potential adult volunteers through direct interaction, engaging activities, and effective communication.

A Seasonal Recruiter is responsible for increasing Girl Scout membership within Fayette and surrounding counties by actively engaging with potential members at pre-planned community events (open houses, festivals, etc.) and presentations. This role focuses on promoting the Girl Scout Experience to girls, their families, and potential adult volunteers through direct interaction, engaging activities, and effective communication.
Customer Care Specialist - Erlanger, KY
The Customer Care Specialist is a full-time position responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high-quality experience for all first point of contact customer inquiries. This position will ensure that the day-to-day operations proceed efficiently to deliver exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include first-stop customer service via phone calls, emails, and cases; managing the on-site retail experience within the service center; approaching each customer with a relational mindset and a goal to meet their needs. Customer Care Specialists work collaboratively with other members of the staff team toward achieving the council’s strategic vision, short- and long-term plans, and project work. Additional duties as assigned. This is not a hybrid/remote position and will require five days a week in office presence.
Day Camp Counselor - Erlanger, KY
Spend an exciting two weeks of summer with Girl Scouts of Kentucky’s Wilderness Road Council! Join us as a Day Camp Counselor and provide general program delivery during the summer to Girl Scouts in Northern Kentucky. The Day Camp Counselor will participate in Licking Valley Day Camp and will be responsible for overseeing participating girls, managing daily activities, and bringing a positive and energetic attitude to each exciting day. Day Camp Counselors will also learn invaluable skills related to working with youth, strengthening teamwork abilities, and navigating dynamic work days. This is an on-site position open to applicants aged 16 and up.
