Including and elevating our Adult and Girl members voices is an essential part of Girl Scouts of Kentucky's Wilderness Road. As a member-led organization, we have many opportunities for members to participate in our governance. One opportunity is serving as a National Delegate.
Every three years Girl Scouts of United States of America (GSUSA) holds a National Convention and National Council Session (Business Meeting). During this business meeting, important work for the organization takes place and every council in the country sends representatives. YOU could be one of those representatives!
National Council Delegates serve an important role for the council. As our representative, you elect the National Board of Directors and National Board Development Committee members, amend the constitution, and vote on important proposals. You also help influence the strategic direction of the Girl Scout movement by providing guidance to the National Board.
