During this amazing event, our girls will not only learn about some unbelievable animal heroes of the past, they will learn about how they help us now and might even do so in the future! They will learn about how animals keep us safe, help us emotionally, and help people with disabilities. We will have videos / documentaries; stories about animal heroes; interviews with pet owners; and presentations from a K-9 dog trainer (with her dog!!) and a hospital service dog owner / trainer! Finally, the girls will research other types of animals for future service!! The Cadettes will receive their Animal Helpers Badge.
