Get ready to saddle up and come along for Every Ability Count's first annual Halloween Horsetopia event! We will spend the day learning all about the amazing animals that make Kentucky unlike no other state in the United States! From hands on time with horses, to learning the history of horses throughout centuries of time, girls will take a first hand journey through the world of horses. Juniors will complete all steps necessary to earn their Horseback Riding badge. Other levels will complete activities which will fulfill the necesary requirements for their Animal level badges. Activities will be self-guided but materials and activities will be prepared. Badges are not included, but a custom patch is included for all. This event is put on by the Every Ability Counts Committee, and as such, is open to all needs and abilities. We welcome Girl Scouts from throughout the council to join us along with all of our friends with special and adaptive needs. This experience is designed for all abilities and where needed, the program will be adapted to each girl's induvidual needs. Please reach out if you have a specific request for an adaptation.
