Join us for this year's Girl Scout Awardapalosa! at Camp Shawano!
Girl Scouts of Kentucky's Wilderness Road is so excited to present our Girl Scout Awardapalosa! This is a day for recognition and fun for Girl Scouts earning the Bronze Award, Silver Award, and the 1000 Cookie Box Seller acheivement. The Awardapalosa will be held on September 6, 2025, at Camp Shawano and will host the Bronze and Silver Award Ceremony in the morning, an Ice cream Social kicking off the Girl Scout Recognition Adventure midday, and then we will celebrate the 1000 Cookie Box Seller Celbration in the afternoon.
Our GSKWR commmunity is so proud of you, and we want to celebrate everyone's incredible accomplishments! Bring friends and family to this special event where all three awards will be celebrated along with a day full of fun! The cost for Award Girl Scouts is $12 for the day and all Adults/Guests/Family Members is $15 for the day. We look forward to seeing you and want to say congratulations on joining an elite group of Girl Scouts earning such amazing awards!
Bronze and Silver Award Girl Scouts will begin check-in at 9:00am and will have a Breakfast Bar and an Eat and Mingle Session with the Ceremony to follow at 10:00am. The 1000 Cookie Box Seller Girl Scouts will check in at 12:00pm, with the Ice cream Social starting at 12:30pm for all Award Girl Scouts and guests. The Girl Scout Recognition Adventure which will include games, activities, and stations recognizing how Girl Scouts change the world will begin at 1pm with the 1000 Cookie Box Seller Celebration following at 2:30pm. Bring a picnic lunch, camp chairs, and join us in celebrating the hard work and dedication of all our amazing Girl Scouts!
