Unstoppable Women brings together trailblazing women at the top of their fields and GSKWR older Girl Scouts for a collection of conversations to educate and inspire all of us who are striving to represent the Girl Scout ideals of courage, confidence and character.
Join us April 4th at 4:00pm EST for Girl Scouts of Kentucky’s Wilderness Road’s Unstoppable Women conversation featuring Girl Scout Volunteers, Mary Stephens and Stacy Faraci. This month, the conversation topic is Legendary Leaders!
Meet the speaker
Mary Stephens is a 20+ year volunteer of GSKWR. She is apart of the Licking Valley Planning and Activities Committee and a Troop Camp Trainer. Mary was recognized as GSKWR's July volunteer of the month in 2022. She is professional, kind to all and always willing to pitch in and/or take the lead.
Stacy Faraci grew up in Cincinnati and was a Brownie and Junior in the Great Rivers Council. Today she is the troop leader of Troop 2423 in Lexington Kentucky, a multi-level troop with 30 girls from Dixie Magnet Elementary. In her personal life she is the mother of a plucky seven year old and has an interest in advocacy within the disability community. Professionally she is a small business owner who's focus is on sustainability within the world of Fast Fashion and clothing waste.
This is a free event but all attendees must register to receive Zoom link and passcode. Registration will close 10 minutes prior to the event.
Discovering—and Doing—More
Unstoppable Women conversations showcase a wide variety of topics of interest to women of all ages. To help engage and connect Girl Scouts to the Unstoppable Women program, conversation topics will be tied to badges and journeys for each grade level.
Girl Scouts are encouraged to work on the Girl Scout Way Badges for their age level. When you've earned this badge, you’ll know how to practice and share the Girl Scout way.
