Join the Girl Scouts of Kentucky's Wilderness Road Camp Volunteers at Camp Whippoorwill for an overnight Troop Camp Training! This hands-on training is designed for Girl Scout volunteers who want to confidently lead troop camping adventures.
Throughout the weekend, participants will learn essential outdoor skills, including:
- Knife safety
- Knot tying
- Fire building
- Outdoor cooking
- Camp setup and Leave No Trace principles
- And more!
At least one registered troop volunteer must complete Troop Camp Training before a troop can participate in approved camping trips or reserve units at Girl Scout camp properties.

- Cost: $35 per person
- Time: Check-in begins at 9 :00 AM on October 3, and training concludes around 12:00 PM on October 4.
