COVID-19 is taking a bite out of our Cookie Program. Girl
Scouts of Kentucky’s Wilderness Road suspended cookie booths and
door-to-door sales, and we are facing surplus inventory and a
significant shortfall in anticipated Cookie Program revenue.
Our girls and troops rely on proceeds from the Cookie Program for
camp, travel, programming and community service projects. They, like
all of us, are doing their best to think outside the box.
Unpredictable times like these remind us that Girl Scouts’
foundation of courage, confidence and character builds resilience,
strength and creativity. Seeing opportunities not obstacles,
possibilities not problems. That’s Girl Scouts.
