Troop 1847 Shows Appreciation for Local Fire Fighters!

Junior Troop 1847 of Richmond used 25% of the money they raised selling Girl Scout cookies to show their appreciation for their local fire fighters. Landscaping for the flag pole area was not in the budget for Fire House #1 this year. The girls planned out an area that would have blooms or evergreens for the entire year. Working together, the fire fighters and scouts planted shrubs, daisies, and sedum. They will return in the fall to clean up and plant daffodil bulbs. The girls also brought a dozen boxes of cookies for the fire fighters to enjoy!
