When you support Girl Scouts of Kentucky’s Wilderness Road, you help girls learn to be safe, think for themselves, and lead the way for others. Imagine what an entire generation of girls can do, given confidence, skills and preparation to lead! Celebrating more than 100 years of service to girls and their communities, Girl Scouts of Kentucky's Wilderness Road reaches nearly 18,000 girls in central, eastern and northern Kentucky every year.
Every registered Girl Scout member (girl and adult) is covered by a basic accident insurance plan. The plan is designed to help pay medical expenses if an accident occurs during a supervised Girl Scout activity. Trained Girl Scout volunteers are at every meeting, and adult/girl ratios are set to ensure your daughter’s needs and safety will be met.
National Girl Scout research has shown that Girl Scouting provides benefits to not only the girls involved, but their parents as well.

Girl Scouts enjoy a variety of activities that are fun, educational and safe. Troop activities are based on the Girl Scout program, the age of the girl and the interest of the girls in the troop.
