Spring High Adventure JR-CA-SR-AM-Event Details

Come out and see what Camp Judy Layne has to offer! Girls will be able to choose their own adventure and activities during this fun filled weekend planned by the Bluegrass Teen Leadership Council. Climb the tower, prusik, zipline (for girls 13 and over), canoeing, rappel down a cliff, teams course, camp crafts, hiking or just hang out with friends. There will also be a special all camp activity on Saturday evening. NOW OPEN TO JUNIORS ALSO! See TLC in action and discover what awaits you as a Teen Girl Scout.

Come see what Girl Scout camp has to offer!  We invite the entire family to visit the camp, see the accommodations, enjoy some activities, go canoeing, take a hike through the woods and meet some of the staff.

                   This event is free!  Everyone is welcome – Bring the whole family!

If you would like to challenge yourself on our climbing tower , it will be available all afternoon.

· Each participant is required to sign a High Risk Waiver.  A parent /guardian’s signature is required for  each minor child.

· High Risk Waivers will be available at camp or can be downloaded from our website.

· Participants ages 6 years old and up can climb.

Brownie First Aid – April 14

Brownie First Aid

Where:   University of Kentucky College of Nursing
Minimum: 20 girls
Maximum: 50 girls
Please register by April 2

Brownie Girl Scouts will earn the First Aid badge from the Girls Guide to Girl Scouting. Girls learn how to get help in an emergency and how to treat minor injuries.
