Day Use Only

Visit camp for the day to enjoy a picnic, hike, and swim or to introduce your girls to camp.  No overnight stay.

Dining Hall with  Kitchen

Can seat up to 120 people at one time.  Tables, benches and chairs are furnished.  The kitchen has two commercial stoves, a walk in cooler, cooking equipment, an ice machine and bathroom.  Must have training on commercial kitchen equipment.

Can seat up to 120 people at one time.  Tables, benches and chairs are furnished.  Building can also be used for programming.

ABC Lodge/Infirmary

A cabin with full facilities.  A furnished kitchen, bathroom with shower, small bedroom, open area, mattresses that can be put on the floor for additional sleeping, heat and air conditioning.

CIT Unit

Has 6 platform tents with 4 cots and mattresses in each tent, a shelter with picnic tables (no electricity in the shelter), 3 bathrooms with showers and a kitchen with refrigerator, stove and microwave.

Charlotte’s Web

A cabin unit with 3 small cabins attached to a covered shelter with a fireplace. Cabin 1 sleeps 10 and has a refrigerator and microwave, cabins 2 and 3 sleep 8 in each cabin.  The cabins are equipped with wooden bunk beds and mattresses.  This facility has a latrine and fire circle.

Keeneland

Has 7 platform tents with 4 cots and mattresses in each tent, a shelter with picnic tables (shelter has electricity), a fire circle and is adjacent to the Central Bathhouse.

Sinawik

The arts & crafts building.  The building can be rented for troop or group use but you must provide your own supplies.  The building has electricity and tables.  Building is available to all campers.

Directions:          From I-64, take Exit 133 Sharkey/Farmers/Cave Run, go towards Farmers, take Hwy. 801 around the lake, Hwy. 801 becomes Hwy. 1274 ( do not turn left at 801 & 1274) continue going straight.  Turn left onto Camp Judy Layne Road and go to the end of the black top road and you will see the gate for the camp.  Drive down the gravel road to your unit.   It is approximately 19 miles from the exit to Camp Judy Layne Road.  The camp is at the end of the road.

DESIGNATED STORM SHELTER AREAS ARE THE DINING HALL, THE CENTRAL BATH HOUSE AND UNDERNEATH THE DINING HALL, IN THE TRAIL HOUSE.  If you use the trail house as shelter, please do NOT touch any of the equipment.
