Non-traditional Volunteers

Non-traditional Volunteers

Often people think that if they don’t have a daughter, or don’t want to be a Troop Leader, they don’t have anything to offer Girl Scouts. Nothing can be further from the truth!

  • Are you an artist or musician, and like to engage others?  Help us create an event or program around your talent!
  • Do you have an interest–like graphic design or ecology–you’d like to develop further?  Consider being an intern for one of our departments.
  • Do you enjoy meeting new people while volunteering for the premier leadership organization for girls? Consider being a membership or program aide.

Contact you local office or Service Center for more information.  There are so many opportunities available!

Green Hat Workshop

Know someone who would like to help with Girl Scouts but not necessarily as a leader? Invite them to the Green Hat Workshop at Pineville First Presbyterian Church this Thursday, August 4th, from 6-8:30.

Better yet, bring them with you!

We are looking for Dads, teen girls, and community volunteers who want to build Girl scouts in their community. Leaders also VERY welcome! Call Cassi (or leave a message) at 606-878-8535 to sign-up to come. We just need ahead count to bring enough supplies.
