6 Winners from Promise to Vote 2012!

The 2012 Promise to Vote Service Project was a great success! We had 6 winning troop and two who tied as our Grand Prize Winners!

Our Grand Prize Winners were Troop 2165 from the Ken-O-Valley Cluster and Troops 143, 133, 1035 (Daisy-Junior lead by Stacey Arnold) from the Bluegrass Cluster!

Congratulations to our cluster winners Troop 840: Bluegrass, Troop 293: Mountain Laurel, Troop 1689: Licking Valley and Troop 1738: Jenny Wiley!

In order to qualify as a finalist the troops had to

  • Set up a booth that featured Girl Scouts and Promise to Vote.
  • Wear uniforms, sashes, or Girl Scouts T-shirts.
  • Publicize their booth through local media.
  • Submit a photograph.
  • and Complete Promise to Vote signature forms.

The Promise to Vote Service Project is done to remind people to vote and attract more people to the polls while also encouraging our Girls to be more visible and active in our communities and allowing them to encourage the community to be active as well.
